Interlink Plus with G2?

Anyone of you guys succeeded in making the Interlink Plus work with G2?
I have read somewhere that the Interlink Plus (which comes with G3) is supposed to work on G2 as well, but so far it is not!
I don't think it's very convenient to use two controllers, one to practise Heli on G2 and one for the G3!!!
Anyone solved this problem???

I read elsewhere in this forum that the PLUS controller will NOT work in G2.
Apparently it is part of the copy protection.......which is pretty lame and poor customer relations for us legal owners of BOTH G2 and G3......what a pain in the...

I wish a fix would be made......even if requiring BOTH contoller serial numbers durring install... If the manufacture really wanted to keep customer base....why not let G2 operate on the PLUS controller.... at least we would get the benefits of the added features of the $200 PLUS controller (since the software is worthless right now) to fly heli's in G2 while we wait (FAR TOO LONG I MIGHT ADD) for the update to G3. Are they going to loose G2 sales by doing this.....I think NOT....but maybe a few more G3 sales and some (slightly) happier G3 owners.

By the way.....why is there so many promised (and advertised) features of G3 NOT part of the original release? Sticker and advertisements only say HELI's not available till Spring 2005.....no mention that MANY OTHER FEATURES are disabled/not available.....BAIT AND SWITCH is illegal in most (if not all) states.

I guess my rant got off topic....sorry....frustrated like many others.....
I will end on a positive note......G3 WILL BE AWESOME when it is completed.

Yes it will be AWESOME!

For me it already is AWESOME!
But of course looking forward to it being fine tuned "down the line".

I guess it's really upsetting to have to use both controllers until they finally come out with the heli update.
I too feel that we won't be seeing the heli update in the near future, especially if they plan to include all the bug fixes in it.

Don't get me wrong, I'm actually very pleased with the G3, especially when it comes to practising 3D, however with the new bugs being reported constantly on this forum, I thought this would certainly delay the heli update, unless it wouldn't include any bug fixing.

And to think, I sold my G2, now I can only fly the real thing. What a bum rap
