Model Request - any EF-1 Racer

I would like to request ANY EF-1 racer. The Horizon Hobbies Shoestring, or the Great Planes "Proud Bird", the World Models Scarlet Screamer or Outrageous, the NitroPlanes Miss DARA. Anything that accurately depicts a legal EF-1 racer. Rimfire EF-1 motor, APC 8X8E prop, 3000 mAH 70C battery. Thanks.

You can find the Proud Bird and several variants on the swap pages. Here is a MKII technoid did (His original version is also on swaps). Editing to Electric is pretty easy if it hasn't been done.

My bad.... I forgot that the Great Planes "Proud Bird" was included. Sorry. However, the Eflite Shoestring or any of the other EF-1's would be nice.

The "Proud Bird" that you linked to is a Pattern plane, not a racer, but thanks.

Love to see either the Eflite 1.6 Cirrus or the new Piper Cherokee 1.3 or both.

Unfortunately, that's not the EF-1 racer, this is the EF-1 racer

https://www.horizonhobby.com/shoestring-15e-arf-efl4205

The "yellow" shoestring that is included in RF is the early 1949 configuration, but the current EF-1 racer is modeled on the heavily modified version of the original that was done by Ray Cote, Ken Stockbarger and Paul White. The real airplane completely DOMINATED Reno Formula One racing for over a decade. The real airplane is in the San Diego Air and Space museum in Balboa Park. The variant that you made is really nice but is not what is needed. But seriously, thanks a LOT for trying. It great guys like you that help keep our hobby going.

yes i know i did the flight physics with the power 25 BL Outrunner of the one you asked for the color scheme i tried to do to match the one you wanted and have a sort of close one done but the mapping of it makes it hard to match right but i can upload the one i have right now

One thing about realflight is it really doesn't matter what the graphic model looks like, as long as the physics model is setup like the real aircraft. This includes the airfoil on the wing, weight of the individual parts of the aircraft, the power, prop, and size. If the graphics model is very similar to some other model its usually easier to just Change the colorscheme and adjust the physics to fit the actual model. You can make a DC-3 fly like a racer or 3D plane or even give it helicopter physics, make it fly backwards or sideways, because it does not matter what the graphics model looks like in relation to the physics model.
